Keith is a self trained fine artist painter with a background in the illustrative arts, animation, poetry/literature and film making, having shown works in Investec Cape Town art fair and Kunstalle in Bremen with the likes of Kehinde Wiley and Edvard Munch to name a few in the infancy of his career, it would seem that Keith is on his way to become one of the greats himself. Having works that is based on his Caribbean/British upbringing, he brings to life in what appears to be once in a generational imagery in the form of afro-surrealist painting that is unique to him (which he often calls ‘Shaquillism’). He has also collaborated with many brands such as Bentley Motors for world poetry day and commissioned by Gucci for the monochrome sneaker release as well as having written three poems for their Gucci Beauty campaign. Keith continues to show internationally and astonish the world with his storytelling ability, to which he credits his long passion of reading literature from the likes of shakespeare, Langston Hughes, Maya Angelou and James baldwin, he also credits his love and uniqueness of his poetry to hiphop, most notable Nasir Jones. Where Keith will end up is a mystery, but most would guess in moments of uncertainty, look to the stars.
