The heartbreakers were an original concept shoe which was meant to be the physical embodiment of a poem revolving around the idea of heart break. The term “stomp on ones heart” was also being paid tribute by being turned into a wearable shoe. The sole of the shoe is in a off white tone which gives a great contrast to the rest of the shoe. It is shaped in the form of a jagged sole to give make it more aggressive, the double eye-lit feature pays homage to a combat boot, and the hoop at the back is to symbolise forever but also a silent signature. The embroidery on the sole also pays tribute to an illustration from book 1.
